Hi!!! friends. How are you all? I hope so doing well in your life. I have written this blog to share my solo traveling experience with you. There are ‘N ‘number of such travelers who like to travel or go on a trip by bikes for long distances. The number of such people is increasing day by day in India whether it might be through bike or four-wheelers, mostly bikes. The craziness of bikes in youngsters has reached a different level in India. Nowadays I was also hearing it from my friend about there long road trips on their bikes to spend their weekend. Recently one of my friend groups had been to Ladakh by renting bikes from Delhi. They told me that it was an awesome experience. As I was not well I hooked p the chance to go along with them. But hearing their description of the trip experience I was not able to resist myself and I made the bold decision of traveling solo. I had read somewhere read that solo traveling also gives you wonderful memories that you could cherish them throughout your life. So I made up my mind and started to look for train bookings from Bangalore to Delhi. I was looking for a first-class ticket so that the journey could be peaceful. As the rates were going on cheer rates I booked a 3-tier AC ticket of Karnataka express. The departure time was at 7:00 pm which had arrived at Delhi on the third day at 10:30am.

One thing which was in my favor of traveling solo was that I was independent o take my own decision on the trip. Your mood will always be in an upset mood if the decision is taken you on a trip. But on the other hand, there is a disadvantage of taking some wrong decisions which might be dangerous. But let's be positive and I will start my trip experience with you people. When I reached Delhi I rented a Royal Enfield bike and started my trip to Leh Ladhak. On my road trip, one important advantage was there were a lot of Punjabi Dhaba on the roadside and while through Punjab if you don't enjoy the parathas then you could feel like you have missed something on your trip. While traveling through Punjab it was greenery around me. But as soon as we entered Ladhak the greenery was converted into water desert. While visiting a Buddhist monastery i.e. gompa I was invited to participate in the session memoir writers which was at the highest point in Ladakh's Khardungala. The journey was from Delhi to Srinagar and then by Leh to Khardungala Pass of Ladakh by road. But due to bad health conditions, that dream of mine didn't on the trip.

Delhi Srinagar Leh road trip

As soon as I had reached Delhi and rented a bike and I started thinking of how my trip could be. The image which was building in front of my eyesight was of some of the mesmerizing rivers along the roadside along with the Punjabi dhabhas on every 20 to 30 km. When I was thinking all about positive thought suddenly I came to know it was the month of Shravan mass and my road trip could be in winter the same as the trip of Goa. But the Goa trip was different as I was with my friends and here I was all alone. If it starts showering in the night then my trip could be named as the trip with the ghost. Ha Ha Ha!!!!

I had asked the owner of the bike about the route and also where we can stay and also which is the good place to have food in between the Delhi Srinagar trip. The owner himself had done the journey from Delhi to Srinagar so he suggested that dhabhas are the good place to stop in between your trip and there are many lodges on the road. You can choose whichever you what. He also suggested that not to eat the food from lodging as they charge you more. Dhabhas will be best for food and talking about hygiene you can check it yourself as the food is prepared outside in front of all. He also told me that most of the traveling agencies halt in the famous mutual dubs for food. I thought of trying both as I was on a trip and should have experience of all the good things that come on my way. what do you think, guys?? which comes on

When I reached Panipat I started thinking that I could get to see something that could resemble the history wars. But all I got to see on the way was the big hoarding advertising about Pancharanga ethics and various types of pills. This showed me how imaginary and excited I was about the trip. How can someone find the remains of the Panipat war which had taken place hundreds of years back? None the less I was feeling to have a cup of tea and when Ambala came I stopped there for some minutes to relax and have a cup of tea.

Similarly, I was liking to halt for 20 to 30 at the time when I used to feel hungry in the dhabha. I want to throughoughly enjoy the dhabha food on my trip. The food from the dhabha was delicious and I felt lucky to have a suggestion from the bike owner to have food in dhabhas. Now it had become a case where I was liking to eat in each and every dhabha which passes by me. By this, you guys might have come to now that I am a good foodie and like to taste the food of different hotels. By the time I started to converse in the Punjabi language a little bit. I could also like to tell you that Punjabi people are fast in making friends and start communicating with unknown people in a friendly manner and are helpful.

March towards Jammu

We all know that Punjab is named after five popular rivers named as Ravi, Sutlej, Chenab, Vyas and,  Jhelum. By the time I had reached Jammu I had crossed two rivers i.e Ravi and Vyas. There were still three rivers to pass through to reach my destination. All the sights of the rivers which I had passed till were locked in my memory. I was eager to cross all the five rivers and reach Srinagar to start my trip in real sense.

On the way, I tasted many domestic foods. On the hot sand, the old days were filled with roasted or cuticle, Maranda i.e. Burrimi and freshly chopped Jamun made from Murmur. Until I reached Jammu day was turned into night and I decided to stay in Jammu in a lodge and walk on the road so that a cool breeze hit my tired face and I just feel relaxed.

In the early morning, I checked out of the lodge had my breakfast and tea in a small hotel and started my journey to reach Sonmarg. During my journey to Sonmarg, there was a continuous rainstorm throughout the day. There was a piece of shocking news that I heard from the local public while having tea at tea stall that there was a terrorist attack on the Amarnath pilgrimage on this route. But my spirit to complete the trip was at a different level so I started my journey again with positive vibes. Especially 9.28 km I was all waiting to cross the Chenani-Nashari tunnel or Patni Top Tunnel, the longest in the world, and only a few days earlier. This tunnel connects the Chennai of Udhampur district with the Nashri of Ramban district.

Before reaching Udhampur, I stopped as I smelled the aroma of the preparation of hot parathas that were being prepared on the roadside Dhaba. This is a good method of preparing the food just outside the hotels under the shed. This had two benefits, one is it could be a good marketing strategy for the people going by the roadside and the other is the people can check by themselves the hygiene of the food prepared by them.

At last, I reached the Chenani-Nashari tunnel. Throughout the tunnel, I took several images inside the tunnel. In the entire tunnel, I had switched on the pro camera so that I can get all the clips of the tunnels. After that, I reached the Ultimately our waiting was over and we reached the Chennai-Nashari tunnel. The entire tunnel we took a camera in our hands, pulled the picture. After that, I reached the Ramban along the side of the Chenab river. It was fluttered in the year. Due to the landsides, the roads were blocked. So looking at that scenario I decided to stop in the Ramban which turned to be the right decision as it started showering all night.

As the road was blocked due to the landslides it was unable for me to travel that day which made me stay in Ramban Residency Hotel in Ramban. Talking about the hotel it was not a royal yet a simple hotel. But the view of the mountains and especially the Chenab river was like heaven on lands. You could spend hours of your time by just sitting on the rest chair having a mug of coffee near the window of your hotel. On that day as I was free from 3:00 pm noon, I spent a lot of my time on the bank of the river Chenab. Actually, I had bought a fishing trap from the market and was fishing over the bank of the river for hours. Sitting for hours I was able to catch only one fish luckily. That was my snack at 5:00 pm.

The next day as I got up I made my mind to continue my journey to Sonmarg. But what do you think guys were all going to be according to my plan? No, not at all. From the start of my trip, nothing has gone according to the schedule. At the hotel, I asked the receptionist about the tourist place nearby apart from Sonmarg. She gave me a cute smile and replied have you seen Kargil and for that my answer was "I am new to Srinagar" with a naughty laugh on my face. She said you could love to see that place. One of the historic places in Srinagar. So know my destination was changed from Sonmarg to Kargil.

After crossing Banihal, there were factories of cricket bat production units on both sides of the road. This time I didn't stop over there. Just had few clicks of the factories had a cup of tea and ones again started my journey. One thing which I had regularly on this trip was a cup of tea. It was soo cold outside on the highways that everyone who doesn't have the habit of drinking tea will also start having it. As I reached Anantnag I thought of stopping my journey for a while and enjoy the landscape spread from the titanic observation site. it is famous to see the place during the spring season.

As I reached Srinagar there was an unexpected silence all around me. This was not expected by me all. All the shutters of the shop were closed. I had reached Srinagar around 7:00 am in the morning. There was a lot of fog all around me and was not able to see properly. I reached on the shores of the dal lake and was able to see a lot of boats. I thought of parking my bike and have a shikhara ride in the lake. You will not believe that there were a lot of other boats on the lake but all I was hearing was the sound of the water and that's it. It gave me such a soothing effect to my mind that all the stress of traveling such long-distance vanished within a few minutes.

Then have rest in the shikhara ride I stepped to the distant town which was the major site seeing attraction for many tourists which is named Sonmarg. Not only Sonmarg the road from Srinagar to Sonmarg is also one the attraction point for some tourist. The main Jhelum river was flowing towards the Indus river of Srinagar which means I was traveling in the opposite direction of the flow of a river and that view was eyecatching for. Then started to appear the Glaciers view which added to the beauty of the river.
Glacier's Shaniyasai was talking about the continuous journey of water in the river Piglakar. How do the blob water fill in rivers in triangular shape glacier, it was a very intriguingly captivating scene. By losing every moment, creating one's existence, this saga is water!

Glaciers on Delhi-Srinagar Leh road trip “DELHI – SRINAGAR LEH ROAD TRIP”

I had just stepped into the breakfast room located in one of the greenery grasslands. Along with me, several other tourist people were enjoying their food over there. In the hotel, there was a person who was talking with those tourist people and trying to convince them that Kashmir is a safe place for spending their holidays. According to my, that guy might be working in that hotel. He was listing out the very beautiful sights and he will take them over there. At that point, I came to know he was a travel agent. He had dined in the breakfast room located in front of the lush green grasslands. Several mules in the field stood to wait for tourists like us, including our owners. Some of them tried to convince us that Kashmir is a very safe place for tourism. There can be excursions without fear here. We will introduce you to your delightful sights. In his words, there was a mixture of both fear and trust. I hope their words prove to be true soon.

Amarnath Yatra camp in Balatal “ROAD TRIP FROM DELHI TO SRINAGAR.”

As soon as I crossed from Sonamarg, our eyes went towards the valley, our eyes were torn off. At the sides of the river Sindhu, a large camp was set up for Amarnath pilgrims. It was such a mesmerizing that it made me stop for an hour and communicate with the pilgrims and to pursue knowledge from them about their journey.

From the mountain, the view of the camp of the pilgrims looked like the toys placed in front of a child. There were constantly flying helicopters for the devotees who want to visit Amarnath but were physically disabled. There were all around the colorful camps which looked really good to see. I took a few moments to lock that image in my memory permanently.

From Jammu to Highway 44 and many more after Banihal, I had seen many stores. But the vastness of the pilgrims camp and after looking at the number of passengers staying in the tents surprised me a lot. Even after hearing about the treat of the terrorist attack and bad weather conditions the bhakti and devotion of the devote were appreciable. there was a feeling of bowing down to there devotion.

This camp of Balatal was built for those Amarnath pilgrims who wanted to travel from Sonamarg to Amarnath. I am convinced that the same extreme camp would have been planted towards Chandanbadi. The journey to Amarnath would always seem to be a distant journey. At that time, there was such an impression as if I was not a part of this journey but it was a part of me.

My mind began to inspire me for this journey at the very moment and began to be desperate to see that Shivling which appears only in the month of Shravan of Hindu calendar. But my mind made me realize that at this moment I am part of some other journey. I have some responsibility for this trip. Handling him with a heavy heart, the mind worshiped Shiva and I made my body to go ahead with the other members from Sonamarg. My next goal was to visit or move towards ZoJila Pass.

ZoJila Pass is one of the highest levels in the world. But even today, I remember this as a lightly colored marshy route, which seemed to merge in the gray mountains located around. We were moving forward through the glacier walls, but because of the dust on which it was ground, its color was also matched with the rest of the scenario.

When I received the chance of having a glimpse of Glacier walls while moving towards the Kargil I was just stunned. This could be to each and every person looking at it for the first time. You guys will not believe that on this trip I had bought a hot case for tea and carrying two to three mugs of tea where ever I see the tea stall as there was less tea we stopped the car in one place. At the same time, some operators were enjoying the sliding of the tourists on the ice car. The swirling snowflakes from all around were shaking us down to the inside.

Suddenly I started experiencing the freezing atmosphere. To avoid the chills, I tasted hot tea. The air was extremely light and sparse due to its extreme elevation from the sea. And this is where the end of my Delhi-Srinagar-Leh road journey started.

Important information - Before climbing the huge Jogila Pass, give enough time to sleep tonight in Sonamarg and get used to the excessive height. When I got off from Jogila Pass, I headed towards Kargil where my night's rest was certain. Take a short break from the 'Tiger' mountain on the path to Darras War Monument.

Travel marks of passengers in Kargil “ROAD TRIP FROM DELHI TO SRINAGAR”

It is a very good experience for the people who travel from the Delhi-Srinagar-Leh route. You can see the group of several road travelers who travell consistently from Delhi to Leh for the purpose of fun. So different chapels are belonging to the different groups of travelers. I had heard from several localities from her that apart from Leh only Kargil is widely promoted for tourism. After hearing this I made my mind to spend most of my time in Kargil.

When I took one day rest in Kargil I was fresh enough to start my day. I started my journey towards Leh. It was a shiny morning and I was in the good jolly mode to move towards Leh. The atmosphere was good and beautiful around me. I made my bike full of petrol and made my way towards Leh. The roads were curvy and so was I like to ride my bike as I was adventurous in doing it. The vision to my eyes was like fresh greenery lands on one turn and suddenly on the next turn, the land was converting into a flat stone-colored mountain.

When I reached the statue of Buddha in Mulbek I don't want to stop over there. The reason was simple as my health condition was getting worst day by day but when I saw the statue it made me stop, at least to take some pictures of the statue. It was a beautiful statue that was made by carving the rock.   was the first stop on our journey which was especially taken for photographic purposes. It was a beautiful but small gompa built on a straight reef. The temple around it was relatively new. The ancient records were printed on the walls of the gompas. It was certified that since ancient times, travelers have been traveling from this route.
This Gompa was equipped with colorful signets and walls. The names of the donors of this Gompa were engraved on the exterior walls. Ladakh's monotonous perspective was given countless prayers, decorated with colors.

Namika La and Patou La Pass

It was decided to take leave for photographing on these two hill tracks. But by now my health had worsened. So, it is advisable to sit in a car Regarding these two passages, only in my memory are the names of only the strong winds, in which every object in it was fluttering.

After visiting the wall of Mulbek monastery I reached the confluence of the Janskar river and Indus River while being Lamayuru. Once I had visited Ladakh in the winter season. That time I had been with my family. At that time I didn't want to don't want to go in the water and make my dress wet as I was suffering from cold. This time too my health was not soo good that I can have a dip in the water. But I cant hook up this time because there is no chance of visiting this place again and have fun.

The Leh, which had given me a memorable and beautiful memory in January in a cold winter season. But when I reached Phatu LaPass I started seeing many tourist people around me. The roads were slowly converting into trains. The peaceful and silent place which I had visited till now were slowly turning in place which you can say the fish market. For some time I felt that I was in Delhi.
Lamuru Math – Ladakh

In my Delhi Srinagar Leh road trip, Leh was my center post. After this, I had to return to Delhi by traveling through the Khardungala Pass, Nubra Valley, the rivers of Ladakh, and then Manali in Manali. But due to my health conditions, I had to return back from Leh, leaving the journey in the middle. I hope from the bottom of my heart that I could have another opportunity to return to the place and visit all the places which I have missed out.

But apart from this I thoroughly enjoyed all the places which I visited on my solo trip from Delhi to Srignar and Srinagar to Ladhak on a bike. This was a different experience altogether for me and will always be remembered by me throughout my life.
