Hi friends. How are you all? Hope all of you are doing good in your life. In today's blog, I will be recommending you some suggestion which is followed by me as I also face this problem. But know it is been reduced to some limit by taking some useful precautions. Yes, guys, I am taking about hair loss. So if you are also facing this problem then I promise you guys you have landed on the right page.

What is hair loss? It is nothing but when you loss your hair on a regular basis. This is the most common problem faced by almost one-third of the world's population. There is 'n' number of reasons for hair fall which may include pollution, stress, side effects of medicines, deficiency of minerals and vitamins, or putting a cap or even helmet. You might be facing hair fall due to heredity in your family. 

Here is a list of 20 solutions or precautions provided for me by my doctor which were effective for me.

1. Regularly wash your hair with a mild shampoo

Washing your hair twice in a week is a very good habit. By this, you will keep your hairs scalp clean which will indeed keep your hairs free from dandruff and other infections which might lead to damage of hairs and cause hair fall. and also clean hairs will give a good impression on people. But remember to wash your hair with the shampoo that is suitable for your scalp or hair. Better to take suggestions from a skin specialist.

2. Vitamin for hair loss

Vitamins are not only required to live a healthy life but they are also essential for your body to prevent hair fall. The production of sebum in your scalp is due to vitamin A whereas vitamin E will improve the blood circulation in your scalp to help hair follicles remain productive and vitamin B helps the hair to maintain its natural colour. So don't forget to include these vitamins in your diet if you facing the problem of hair fall. the food which you must include for vitamin A is Eggs, Skim milk, fortified breakfast cereals, broccoli, spinach. For vitamin B you can include green leafy vegetables, eggs, brown rice, citrus fruits, avocados, bananas.

3. Enrich diet with protein

Along with vitamins, you should also include proteins in your daily diet so that you don't face hair fall problems. Eating adequate protein is important for hair growth because hair follicles are made of mostly protein. A lack of protein in the diet has been shown to promote hair loss. Eating lean meats, fish, soy or other proteins promotes hair health and in turn helps curb hair loss.

4. Scalp massage with essential oils

Even if you are not facing a hair fall problem massaging your head with essential oil is good for your health. It provides you a soothing effect and releases all the stress and tension. Anyone facing the problem of hair fall must massage the scalp with essential oil for a couple of minutes. It helps in maintaining the hair follicles to remain active. Most preferred oil for head massage is almond oil or sesame oil with adding lavender to it.

5. Avoid brushing wet hair

Whenever your hairs are wet then it is in its weakest state and more chances of losing your hair. So you must avoid combing your hair when they are wet. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't comb your hair when they are wet rather use a wide-toothed comb. Also, don't use your brush very offently as doing so it can increase your hair fall and might cause injury  When hair is wet, it is in its weakest state. So avoid brushing wet hair because the chances of hair loss increase. But if you must comb wet hair, use a very wide-toothed comb. Also, avoid brushing hair too frequently as doing so can injure hair and increase loss. To undo the tangles better use your finger.

6. Garlic juice, onion juice or ginger juice

Rub one of the juices on your scalp, leave it overnight and wash it out in the morning. Do it regularly for a week and you will see a noticeable result.

Method of using garlic juice

1. Garlic and honey for hair growth

Add minced garlic and honey in a bowl and mix them well. Apply this paste on your hair and scalp and leave it for about 30 minutes or more. Rinse it well with running water.

2. Garlic and coconut oil to combat hair loss

Mix the minced garlic with mildly warm coconut oil. Massage the mixture into the scalp and hair and leave it for about 30 minutes before washing it off.

Note: Using only garlic might be irritating to the skin as it packs a strong punch. Therefore, it is necessary to add something to minimize the chances of skin irritation. Also, do not use garlic essential oils.

7. Keep yourself hydrated

Do you know if you are drinking two liters of water daily then you are strengthening your hairs. Yes, you heard it right. If you are dehydrated then it will have a negative impact on the growth of your hairs. As your hairs shaft consists of one-quarter of water you should drink daily 10 cups or two liters of water compulsory in order to grow your hairs long and healthy. And when the roots of the hairs are hydrated it will reduce the problem of dandruff for you.


8. Rub green tea into your hair

The anti-inflammatory properties present in the green tea help not only in preventing hair fall but also promote to regenerate your hair. And those who are having dry skin and facing dandruff problems can also make use of this method to get rid of it. The caffeine which is present in the green tea help in preventing baldness as it blocks DHT(Dihydrotestosterone) which is one of the main reason for the baldness.

Know the next question which might be arising for you will be how to apply it. It's very simple as it hears. Just take two bags of green tea in a cup that is filled with water. Boil it and leave it to cool at home temperature. Know to apply it to your hairs and rinse your hairs after one hour. To see the results apply it regularly for one week to ten days.

9. Know what is bad for hair

According to me people must be knowing what is good and what is bad for their hairs. For example people with oily hairs must wash their hairs regularly. They should use anti-dandruff shampoo and avoid using gels hair spray or any other greasy products. Should apply aloe vera to there hairs once or twice in a month.

10. Reduce Alcoholic Beverages

If you are a heavy alcohol drinker and you are experiencing hair fall and you want to reduce it then just minimize your intake of alcoholic products. This is because alcohol will reduce the hair growth. So decrease or rather I could say stop drinking.

11. Avoid Smoking

A study was conducted where it was found that smoking reduces the amount of blood flow to the scalp which results in a reduction in hair growth.

12. Physical activity

Yes, friends physical activities. One of the important part of our life. Not just going to the gym but walking, swimming, jogging, yoga, meditation will also help in maintaining your body in healthy conditions. This will help your body to keep in good condition and will reduce drug induced hair fall.


13. De-stress

Three types of hair loss that can be associated with high-stress levels are:

1. Telogen effluvium. In the case of telogen effluvium, more stress can make your hair follicles move in the resting phase and within one month or two, the hairs which will effected will fall when you put your fingers to remove the tangles in hairs.

2. Trichotillomania. Trichotillomania is a state where to are urged to pull your hairs from scalp, eyebrows or else any other part of the body. this could be because of uncomfortable feelings in our life such as stress, loneliness, tension or frustration. 

3. Alopecia areata. There are a variety of reasons which cause alopecia areta. The main factors are severe stress and frustration. This will attack the immune system of human beings and damage hair follicles.

A study was carried out where it was found that practicing meditation and yoga one can get rid of severe stress.

14. Avoid Constant heating & drying

Almost all of them mostly girls prefer to dry their wet hairs using a drier and like to style their hairs by heating their hairs. But the people who are losing their hairs due to any reasons must not use drier or heater for there hairs. As heating or drying your hairs might lead to weakening or breaking off your hairs.

15. Keep your head sweat-free

People who are having oily hair might have a chance of facing dandruff during the summer season due to sweating and this may lead to the chances of hair fall. Making use of cool mild shampoo might help you prevent dandruff. Or else instead of using a shampoo which consists of aloe vera in it you can apply aloe vera naturally to your hairs and leave it for one to two hours and rinse your hair with the mild shampoo. This will help in  keeping your head cool.

Also wearing a helmet which has become compulsory nowadays or wearing a hat or cap can increase your hair fall in the summer season. This is because the sweat which will be generated in your head will be accumulated in the pores and this will weakeen your hair roots and cause hair loss. For this, you can make use of helmets or caps which come with the air gaps. Due to these air gaps, the production of sweat in your head will be minimized.

16. Change how you style your hair (for men with long hair)

Yes, guys if you are among young boys who like to leave their hairs long or put ponytails or even if you put a wig then it may cause your hair follicles and can even lead to baldness. To avoid hair fall you must loosen your hairs.

17. Take care of your health

Health problems are harbingers of hair loss. Ensure you deal with chronic illnesses, high fevers and infections properly to ensure healthy hair.

18. Keep a watch on medication

Drugs can cause hair to fall as it interferes with the normal cycle of scalp hair growth. Due to medication, two types of hair fall occurs. They are telogen effluvium and anagen effluvium.

Telogen effluvium is the most common form of drug induced hair loss. You can start seeing the effect of these drugs after 2 to 4 months after taking the drug. This type of drug-induced hair loss is most common among individuals. This condition causes your hair follicles to go into a resting period known as telogen and make your hair fall very early.
Another type of hair fall caused due to medication is called Anagen effluvium. In this type, the hair fall occurs during the anagen phase of the hair cycle when hairs are actively growing. It blocks the matrix cells, which produce new hairs, from dividing normally. This type of hair loss usually occurs within a few days after taking the medication. It's most common in people who are taking chemotherapy drugs for cancer and is often severe. causing people to lose most or all of the hair on their head, as well as their eyebrows, eyelashes, and other body hairs.

You can prevent this type of hair loss by consulting to your doctor and ask him to replace your medication. But Anagen effluvium type of hair loss cant be prevented by any means.

19. Keep away from chemicals

Applying hair dye might increase the possibility of hair loss. This is because it might weaken the hair shaft and indeed cause hair fall. Hair dye consists of harmful chemicals. The most common reason for hair fall caused due to hair dyeing might be because it may physically weaken the hair shafts by disruption of the protein backbone. So it is advised not to colour your hairs if you are experiencing hair fall.

20. Schedule appointments with doctors regularly
